本作は、ファンタジー世界を舞台に、トレジャーハンターの青年と、世界の運命を託された少女が繰り広げる、冒険、成長、そして愛の軌跡を描いた本格ロールプレイングゲームです。
展開される壮大なストーリーや随所に隠されたサブイベントに加え、個性豊かなキャラクターたち、装備品によって変化するさまざまなスキルの習得、面倒なザコ敵との戦いに便利なオートバトルシステムなど、魅力あふれる一作です。
■広大なマップ、そして数々のイベント
キャラクターは広大な世界を旅することになり、フィールドを歩いて移動するほか、港で乗れる船、そしてストーリー中盤以降に登場する飛行船など、冒険を盛り上げる多彩な移動手段が存在します。
■アビリティ習得でスキルを発動！躍動感あふれる戦闘シーン
本作のキャラクターには、「レベル」や「経験値」がありません。「HP」、「MP」、「力」など、個々のパラメーターは、戦闘を繰り返すことで少しずつ上昇します。
また、武器や防具には「アビリティ」という特性が備わっており、戦闘中、キャラクターは、装備している武具の「アビリティ」を「スキル」として発動することができます。
■高画質なグラフィック
画面はフルワイドとなり、背景やキャラクターなどもハイクオリティなグラフィックで描かれています。

トレジャーハンターとして旅をするシェイリオは、とある港町で、警衛隊に追われる少女と出会い、成り行きで一緒に逃げることになった。ルティリスと名乗るその少女は、人を探す旅をしているという。出会ったのも何かの縁と、シェイリオは彼女を手伝うことにした。
ルティリスの人探しの旅の準備のために、２人は一度、ルティリスの生まれ故郷に戻ったが、そこで村の長老が彼女について淡々と語りだした。
ルティリスは、啓示を受け、命を捧げて世界を救わなければならい運命にあること、
そして、己の最期を見届ける者としてシェイリオを選んだことを……。
