・広いフィールドがあり、飛行船で空を飛べる！他の街・村・城があります。
・アイテム数は前作「道具屋と魔王」の1.5倍！アイテム図鑑もあり、コンプリート率もわかります。
・街の人の数も前作から1.5倍に！そして街の人それぞれに固有の技・セリフがあります。
・道具屋だけでなく、レストラン経営もできます。
・トロフィー数、アイテムコンプリート率もランキングで競えるようになりました。
・お菓子工房、本屋、カジノなど、前作とは違う建物を街に建てられます。
・新モンスター、複数の裏ボスと隠しダンジョンがあり、やりこみ度さらにアップ！
・「道具屋と魔王」とは違う新ストーリー（前作のキャラも登場！？）
・好きな商品の値引きセールをしたり、割引券を渡したりもできます。
・クリア後に楽しめる「道具屋の冒険・ゼロ」という無料ノベルゲームを用意しました。新作の無料ノベルも続々追加中！

なお、前作とはストーリーはほとんどつながっていないため、本作が初めてでも楽しめます。
また、今作は前作のような魔王軍との戦闘が無いので、前作が苦手だった人にも向いていると思います。
